The objectives of the assignment. Personal finance is a topic that has a lot of articles written about it. The task at hand is to assess the value of these articles in terms of accuracy, clarity, and bias. The goal of this assignment is to get you used to evaluating articles critically. The objectives are as follows:
1. To assess the newspaper article’s generalization accuracy, clarity of presentation, and bias.
2. Describe how the issues raised in the article affect Canadian individuals and families (be careful if you select an article from the US as it may not apply to Canada).
3. Describe how the information in the article can assist you in making better financial decisions.
4. To gain experience in writing and expressing ideas.

How do you get started?
Find an article from an online source, a newspaper, or another current publication that was published no earlier than 2018, because a lot has changed since then. Choose an article that is relevant to the topics covered in this course. (minimum 1 page or 700 words, preferable 2 pages)
Note: You’ll be asked to explain how the topic of your article affects individuals or families in Canada, so make sure it’s about the Canadian economy, not just the US. Please send me a copy of the article so I can see what you’re talking about.
If you’re using an online source, make sure to include the article title as well as a direct link to the article’s page on the internet). If you’re using a paper source, such as a printed magazine or newspaper, make sure to include the article’s title, the periodical’s name, and the date of publication, as well as a scanned copy of the article as part of your submission. I will be unable to grade this assignment if I am unable to access the article you are critiquing because you did not provide a working link or copy of the article.
