Hygiene Model with Using Google Companys Analysis
*I am going to have a presentation which is an explanation about Herberg’s Motivator-Hygiene Model with using Google company’s analysis as an example. Just write 1 page singe space which I am going to speak (like 5min) about the relationship between Google company’s motivation and Herzberg’s Motivator-Hygiene Model. Needs to include what the Herzberg’s Motivator-Hygiene model is as well.
How it related to Google: Focus on how Google motivates their empolyees by increasing job satisfaction and decreasing job dissatisfaction
Example: Allow to bring their pets to workplace/ Fitness classes and gyms/ Tech support 24/7…
This is what I found regarding Google company’s motivation for job satisfaction. You can use this information if you need.
-Management is attempting to increase employees’ job satisfaction and reduce turnover by creating positive hygiene factors. These initiaitives include the follosing: 1) allowing employees to bring pets to work 2) creating workday intramural sporting events like basketball, soccer, and beach volley ball, 3) creating arcades where employees can play Ping-Pong, and video games, 4) establishing an information resource center in which employees can borrow the latest video games, movies, books, and magazines for free, and 5) providing a gym with groupd fitness classes.
In 150 words or more, answer the following:.
The theory of fat cell development is: During periods of growth, such as the adolescent growth spurt, new adipose (fat) cells are created. Whenever we are in positive energy balance, adipose cells swell with triglycerides. During periods of negative energy balance, triglycerides are burned for energy and the fat cells shrink. However, once an adipose cell is created, it is never lost.Imagine that you are appointed on a PBSC advisory committee to the mayor of West Palm Beach. Our job is to advise the city on specific ways to combat obesity in late childhood. You are aware that childhood obesity rates have increased dramatically over the last few decades. Serving sizes of everything from soda and juice to breads and muffins have increased as well. Children are exposed to intense marketing of sugary junk foods by the food industry. Furthermore, research shows that sugar in food has addictive qualities. Keeping the theory of fat cell development in mind, what specific measures would you recommend to the mayor to combat obesity in children?

You will use the information you’ve collected on your Notes Form to help you complete your Works Cited page.
There are two steps to this process:
Format Individual Citations Use the information you collected on your Notes Form to format your citations. Remember, you will have at least 5 items on your Works Cited page. You can use either of the links below to help you format your citations so they meet MLA requirements: NoodleBib: http://www.noodletools.com/noodlebib/citeone_s.php (Click the MLA button on the left, then choose the appropriate source from the dropdown list.) Son of Citation Machine: http://citationmachine.net/index.php?reqstyleid=1&more=yes (Use the links down the left side of the page to choose the source you want to cite.)
EasyBib: http://www.easybib.com/ (this one is my personal favorite and the easiest to use)
Format the Works Cited Page:
Once you have your sources formatted and documented appropriately, you need to put them together on a single sheet that will go at the end of your research paper. As you might have guessed, the rules are very specific.
ALL of the research you reference in your paper should be included on the Works Cited. For example, if you referenced articles from PETA and John Francis’s study on Animal Cruelty, then both of those should be in your Works Cited. However, if you did not use the research in your paper, it should not be on your Works Cited.\
Again, this resource works great for helping to format the works cited page: EasyBib: http://www.easybib.com/
Here’s what a Works Cited should look like.
You can visit California State University’s link here http://www.csus.edu/owl/index/mla/mla_format.htm#work for a visual example.
You can visit the OWL Lab at this link for instructions on how to put this page together: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/557/06/ .
Additionally, please remember that formatting also requires the following:
No numbering
Double space everything
Indent all lines after the first (the opposite of paragraphing)
Alphabetize
Example of Annotated Bibliography Entry
Annotated Bibliography
Task: In addition to the “Works Cited” page that is part of your researched argument, you will need to compile an annotated bibliography of at least 10 items from 4 different types of sources, which indicate your research for the final research paper. Source types include professional journals, newspapers, books, videos, interviews, mainstream magazines, electronic sources, and etc. Please exclude reference books and encyclopedias, including online encyclopedias as they tend to be too general and not in depth enough for this assignment.
I would suggest that you avoid the use of Wikipedia as its information is often based upon hearsay and popular sentiment rather than credible fact. Wikipedia might be a good place to get a brief overview and can often lead you to serious resources, but I suggest you use this resource with great caution. Remember that it is an encyclopedia in any case. Your research for the final argument needs to be balanced with equal representation from credible, authoritative sources from each side of your chosen issue.
Each entry must be complete with a proper MLA citation and a short 5 to 7 sentence summary and response (critique) (refer to provided example). All sources referred to in your final paper must be part of the annotated bibliography. The annotated bibliography should be compiled alphabetically by author. Please refer to information covered in class and in your handbook for details and examples of citation and documentation using MLA conventions etc.
Example of annotated bibliography entry:
Angell, Marcia. “The Supreme Court and Physician-Assisted Suicide–The Ultimate Right.”
Dialogues: An Argument Rhetoric and Reader. 3rd edition. Eds. Gary Goshgarian, Kathleen
Krueger, and Janet Barnett Minc. New York: Longmam, 2000. 500-07. Print.Marcia Angell, a pathologist and medical ethicist, discusses the legal and ethical issues surrounding Physician Assisted Suicide (PAS). Arguing that patients should have autonomy, Angell covers all of the standard claims in favor of PAS from a medical and legal perspective. She acknowledges Kevorkian from an informational perspective without discussing his situation in depth and without taking sides in his case. Angell is clearly in favor of PAS. Drawing from court decisions and professional journal articles; she uses a point-by-point format with herself as expert. The unusual feature in this article is Angell’s personal testimony of her father’s suicide following a terminal illness. This is a solid professional article from a credible proponent of PAS. This essay is useful in that it explores each side of the issues surrounding PAS and will offer a lot of background for my paper.
