Consider the teachers in relation to the students they teach, for example. Look up demographic statistics in your area, school district websites, and local media for information on your local context (such as news articles on current events). Make a point of connecting theoretical concepts from your literature review to practical solutions/strategies for your community and/or school.
Take, for example, today’s discussion of family structures and socioeconomic issues. To support your analysis of your local community/school, cite statistics on poverty, family structures, and the achievement gap. Please use alternative names when citing the names of a school district, school, and/or any individuals (students, teachers, administrators, and so on) to protect the identities of the individuals.
