You will write a plan to revise the curriculum you used in Assignment 1 using your answers to the discussion questions throughout this course and the material you researched about social factors from Assignment 1. Remember to tie your responses to the student population, community demographics, state and national standards alignment, and other curriculum-related issues.
Write a 6- to 8-page paper that covers the following topics:
Determine the curriculum’s immediate problems.
Examine the following: test scores, the age of present curriculum, and the necessity to incorporate technology.
forces of nature
State and/or national standards are being revised.
Determine who will be a part of your curriculum team.
How will you make sure your staff is diverse?
Explain the importance of key positions and who you plan to fill them.
Describe how you’ll carry out a needs analysis.
Not only test results, but a variety of resources and methodologies should be used.
Examine at least three current trends in your grade/subject area, such as technological integration in the classroom and current approach.
